The Vietnamese ancient green tea is considered one of the most delicious drinks. The tea buds are greyish white in colour, looking like they have a layer of chalk or feathers like snowflakes, so people call them snow tea – a perennial shan tea that converges all three elements of aroma, bold taste, and green water.
The Vietnamese ancient green tea, also known as Snow tea because the snow covered the tops of the trees in winter, cherished the quintessence of heaven and earth; waiting for spring to sprout and sprout, people gathered naturally to create safe tea products, water has a particularly delicious taste.
Ancient Tuyet tea is harvested 3 to 4 times a year. At the end of March and early April, people start picking the first tea crop, the second in May and June, the third in August and the fourth in October – November.
Shan Tuyet tea tree has a large body dyed with mouldy white colour, winding many branches forcing pickers to climb up to harvest. Inheriting a cool alpine climate all year round, with many cloudy days, the tea has big buds covered with a layer of fluffy, white-like snow. The tea roots are more than 300 years old, the trunk is large, the tree is up to meters in diameter, and the leaves and tea buds differ from other teas.
The Vietnamese ancient green tea belongs to the green tea line, picked according to the standard of 1 shrimp and two young leaves. Each tea bud is meticulously selected by H’Mong people on ancient Shan Tuyet tea trees over 300 years old and located at an altitude of over 1300m in Suoi Giang tea forest, Van Chan, Yen Bai. This is a particularly delicious product because the tea buds seem to have gathered all the quintessence of the Northwest.
Traditional, manual methods process Snow Shan Tea according to a rigorous process by one of the experienced tea artisans. Successful star tea products must be hunted with green beans, covered with white snow and have the unique and high aroma of thousands of mountains.
